It was both inspirational and motivational. I feel that coming out of it, I feel more comfortable discussing my mental health as I know I'm not alone.
Megan R., HAVEN 2020 Attendee
I love the support in the community of people performing. As always, I think it is very professionally run and I enjoy working with the team.
Drew M., YAMHIS 2017 & HAVEN 2020 Speaker
It was a safe and supportive space for people to share their experiences with mental health. Having not experienced anything like it before, it was clear that it took a lot of courage to stand in front of a crowd full of friends but also strangers and share personal stories. I personally, left with a better understanding of mental health and the numerous different ways that it manifests in every day life. This was the perfect outlet to express feelings and spark conversations to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.
Jessica L., YAMHIS 2018 Attendee
Before this event, I thought I had to deal with mental health by myself... but after I now know that I am not alone and that there are others who are there that can help me.
Jimothy C., HAVEN 2020 Attendee
Uplifting, eye opening, and vulnerable comfort being surrounded by honest folks.
Martin G., HAVEN 2020 Performer
A great way to bring young people together to talk about mental health.
Darryl H., YAMHIS 2018 Attendee
It reminded me that even though we're apart, we're not alone.
